Dogs’ Day Out
For everyone involved in the trial with Hamilton and Hutt City Councils, we are holding a Dog’s Day Out on the first weekend in November. Hamilton dog owners – Saturday 3 November at Dominion Park in Nawton. There’ll be three separate sessions – one for small dogs (11.30am to 12.30pm), medium sized dogs (1pm to 2pm) and large dogs (2.30pm to 3.30pm) respectively, with each session lasting one hour. Stokes Valley dog owners – Sunday 4 November at Speldhurst Park, Stokes Valley. There’ll be three separate sessions – one for small dogs (9.30am to 10.30am), medium sized dogs (11am to 12 noon) and large dogs (1pm to 2pm) respectively, with each session lasting one hour. Please come along as this will give you the opportunity to test a lost and found dog scenario and to see for yourself how Doggone works. You’ll be able to view a breadcrumb trail of your dog’s movements on the App. For those that don’t have a smartphone, you will be able to test the free 4133 text service. Please make sure your dog is wearing both its Doggone Bluetooth tag and its current Council registration tag (green). Please also have the free Doggone App downloaded on to your phone and have your dog’s Virtual ID profile completed. We’ll be on hand to take you through the test scenarios and to answer any questions that you may have. We’re really looking forward to seeing you and your best friend there!
