Doggone supporting local government
Doggone’s vision has always been to use technology to help reunite lost dogs with their owners – quickly and safely!
Doggone’s vision has always been to use technology to help reunite lost dogs with their owners – quickly and safely!

At the end of our first year working in partnership with Hutt City Council’s regulatory services, the Doggone team is very proud that over the first 365 days, 624 lost dogs were reunited with their owners through the Doggone app and our free 4133-text service.

We’ve had a few challenges along the way, but we continue to refine and innovate our service based on the feedback we get from users. To quote author Seth Godin: “Waiting for perfect is never as smart as making progress!”

We look forward to continuing our support of registered dog owners in Lower Hutt and in helping more Councils around New Zealand in keeping man’s best friend safe and sound with those that love them the most!
