Doggone announces trial with Hamilton and Hutt City Councils
Two of the country’s largest councils are to trial Doggone among up to 2,000 dog owners.
The trials will run for a 3-month period commencing October 2018 and are open to dog owners within Nawton, Grandview Heights and Dinsdale in Hamilton City, and Stokes Valley in Hutt City. These suburbs have been selected on the basis that they provide a natural geographic hub ideal for trial purposes.
A successful trial will see these Councils look to integrate Doggone into the dog registration offering going forward.
Dog owners can register for this FREE trial on the Doggone website, or by texting YES to 4133 or by picking up a registration form from the Council.
Information sessions about the trial for Hamilton dog owners will be held on Friday 14 September and Saturday 15 September from 10am to 2pm at the Western Community Centre. A 15-minute presentation by Doggone’s CEO, Tracy Austin, will be given at 11am and 1pm on both days, and she will be available to answer questions from interested dog owners outside of these presentation times.
The information session for Hutt City Council dog owners involved in the upcoming trial will be held at the Koraunui Stokes Valley Community Hub on Friday 21 September from 12 noon to 6pm.
