An out-of-town reuniting

Young Luna lives in the Hutt Valley. She was out of town over the weekend staying with family friends in Kapiti. While there, she managed to jump the fence and head off for an adventure on her own. Luckily Luna was wearing her Doggone registration tag, and the good samaritan who came across her followed the instructions on the tag and texted her registration number to 4133 allowing her to be quickly, and safely, reunited with her thankful owner.
Doggone’s free text service operates anywhere in New Zealand, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you want to upgrade to a Doggone Bluetooth registration tag, you can do so at any time for this registration year before 30 June 2020. The cost of the Doggone dog registration tag is $28 – which covers the cost of the Bluetooth tag, creation of your dog’s profile on the App and the free Doggone text service. The Doggone App is free for anyone to download. Your Doggone tag can be purchased from Hutt City Council.
